Masafi Mimosa

Masafi Mimosa "Mimmy" is a beautiful flaxen chestnut mare with a stunning head.
She is predominately Crabbet breeding with a little Old Colonial added in.
She is intensely inbred to the World Champion Ralvon Pilgrim family. 
Her sire is by Ralvon Pilgrim, while her dam is by his full brother Ralvon Progress.
For a further bit of inbreeding, her sire's sire - Prophet was out of the dam of Ralvon Pilgrim - Trix SIlver. 

Her sire's dam - Masafi Moonet is descended from the
famous Crabbet Silver family via Silver Moonlight (imp UK) and Mimmy is pictured in the book
"The Crabbet Silver Family in Australia" by Coralie Gordon on P84.

The Old Colonial part of Mimmy's pedigree is her tail female line which is 100% Old Colonial.
Her great grand dam - Khalasa was by the Fenwick Stud import Riffal and was out of
the mare - Kassa who was by the JF Jelbart stallion - Kataf out of another
Fenwick Stud import, the Skowronek daughter Nasirieh.

Mimmy was only lightly shown as she is a very laid back and only performs at home.
However she is an "A" class winner.  Her forte has been in her progeny.
Unfortunately she never produced a filly, only 3 colts, but all were "A" Class champions,
and 2 have gone on to be successful sires.
