We are hobby breeders of Arabian horses with a small farm located in the
picturesque Macedon Ranges at Gisborne, Victoria, Australia.
We are approximately 45 minutes drive from Melbourne along the Calder Freeway,
and 25 minutes from the Tullamarine International airport.We have not concentrated on any particular line or strain, being more interested in horses that
exhibit true Arabian type while maintaining sound conformation. We do, however have
several tail female line descendants of the great mare - Naadirah.
Amongst our horses we have the bloodlines of international Champions:
El Shaklan, Simeon Shai, Fairview Klassique, Simeon Sadik, Padrons Psyche and Ralvon Pilgrim
as well as many Australian Champions.We have been breeding and showing Arabians for over 25 years and have bred and owned
numerous champions during that period. Over recent years we cut right back on breeding
and showing as Rodney has suffered from serious shoulder injuries requiring numerous operations.
We have now decided that before we both get too old, we will give it another try and hope the shoulders survive.
Allanooka is also well known for making top quality lead-in halters and bridles
in a variety of materials including: Cable, brass, leather & biothane.
Our halters have been worn to victory by many well know horses at all the top Australian shows.
We have also sold many halters overseas.View from front verandah
